Still They Echo

An Ecology of Crafted Presence

Still They Echo exists to bring culturally grounded textile works into contemporary spaces — as carriers of story, lineage, and care.

We work place by place across the Asia Pacific, collaborating with artisan communities and trusted in-country organisations to create considered textile wall pieces for modern interiors.

We move slowly.

One place at a time.

Guided by local rhythms.

Our vision is to honour ancestral craft, ecology, and the textures of daily rhythms — companions for the quiet rituals of daily life.

Each offering is created not as a product of trend, but as part of a living ecology: relational, grounded in place, and made to endure.

Our Approach.

Listen first.

We begin with research, time and context - understanding symbolic language, material histories, and cultural meaning before form is proposed. Listening is not a single phase, but an ongoing posture of humility.

Work in relationship.
Collaboration happens directly with artisans and local partners, honouring technique and continuity.

Shape with restraint.

Our pieces are often supported by simple structural elements that allow traditional craft and meaning to remain central.

Still They Echo sits between continuity and change - holding space for tradition to remain itself while entering new spaces.

Collection 01

Laos

Our pilot collection focuses on Laos.

It brings together distinct textile voices - Hmong hemp batik, indigo ikat weaving, and Lanten embroidery.

Each tradition is intended to stand clearly in its own material logic.

Collection 01 is a beginning - and a framework for future place-led chapters.

Looking Ahead

Still They Echo is at the beginning of its journey.

Future collections will continue this rhythm:

one place at a time,

building long-term relationships grounded in respect and clarity.

Research for the next chapter is already quietly underway.
